MLS vastly expanding

If you read the above article you will find out that the MLS is currently in talks of adding up to four more teams in the next three years. This would increase the league from 15 teams to 19 and would make for a major increase revenue for the league. The league is currently seeing a rise in profitability due to the increased television coverage, and soccer specific stadiums are being built. The MLS might not have the best players in the world but they're starting to prove that they have one of the best increasing audiences in any sport. Soccer's popularity is building faster and faster each year. With the 2010 World Cup only 7 months away, I can't see its popularity going anywhere but through the roof!
